Employer & Community Partnerships

Build your workforce.
Strengthen your community.

29 Roots connects employers with pre-screened, trained and motivated candidates who are ready to work from day one, and we stay involved long after the first shift.

We are a workforce partner, not a recruiter. Together we build a reliable talent pipeline shaped around your hiring needs.

Why Employers Partner With Us

We don’t just refer resumes.

We prepare people for the realities of your workplace, then help them succeed once they arrive. That means fewer mismatched hires and a talent pipeline you can count on.

Pre-screened, job-ready candidates

Every candidate is screened and prepared with the technical skills, workplace readiness and safety training your worksite needs.

Industry-aligned training

Our programs are built around real industry requirements, with hands-on training and recognized certifications.

Lower hiring costs

Reduce recruitment and onboarding costs and shorten the time it takes to fill entry-level and skilled roles.

Support during placements

Our team checks in with you and your new hires throughout the placement, so small issues never become big ones.

Stronger retention

Structured workforce preparation means new hires arrive knowing what to expect, and they stay.

A pipeline built around you

Whether you need one hire or a steady flow of talent, we shape referrals around your roles, timelines and culture.

Ways to Partner

Choose how you want to get involved.

Every partnership is different. Start with one of these, or tell us what you have in mind.

Hiring

Hire job-ready graduates

Fill entry-level and skilled roles with certified graduates of our intensive employment training programs.

Co-op

Co-op & work placements

Host a participant for a co-op placement and give them hands-on experience while you assess fit before you hire.

Apprenticeship

Sponsor an apprentice

Open the door to the skilled trades by sponsoring an apprentice who is ready to learn and has the basics in place.

Mentorship

Mentorship & site tours

Offer a workplace tour, a demonstration or a guest talk, or mentor a participant as they explore your industry.

Investment

Sponsor a program

Fund training, tools or safety gear for a cohort and build your brand as an employer that invests in community.

Community

Agency & referral partners

Community agencies, schools and service providers can refer clients and collaborate on wraparound supports.
